Yeah the name is a little intimidating, and when I opened the package, well, I wasn't quite sure what it was at first - you could only see the handle. (It was bought as a gift for me from a friend!)

I used it on our constantly shedding Lab, Haley, who decorates the house year round with a lovely dirty white "glow" of hair it seems. It's always been a losing battle between her and the vacuum.

The first time I used it on her, I mad the mistake of using it on her inside. I was thrilled with the amount of hair that came off her, without cutting or damaging her normal coat, and without any pain for her, but all that hair went on the floor, on me, all over.

The next time I got smart, and we went outside on a nice day, with me in yucky cleaning clothes. Again, soooo much fur came off, it was unreal.

Anyway the results inside are great - Haley's coat is shiny and soft, and there is a ton (almost literally!) less hair to clean up all the time. She enjoys being brushed with it too.

The only issues would be to make sure to do this outside, or somewhere you can either contain or get rid of all the hair. Also, you're not to use it when their hair is wet.
