Join Manny, Ellie, Sid, Diego, Crash, Eddie, and Scrat on an adventure that is "under" this world! Manny and Elly are on the cusp of starting a family with a baby mammoth on the way. Diego yearns for adventure. Sid wants a family of his own.

Sid falls through some ice and finds 3 eggs without anyone to care for them. Mama t-rex comes looking for her babies and retrieves them, along with Sid. The gang then heads underground to rescue Sid.

While underground they discover the dinosaurs are still very much alive. Here they encounter Buck, a slightly crazy and completely harmless weasel, plants that eat animals, and a larger-than-t-rex prehistoric creature named Rudy.

This is a great adventure for the entire family. The movie may be seen in 2D or 3D. I would highly recommend spending the extra money ($2 - $3 more per ticket) and seeing this in 3D! The cinematic world has made great strides in 3D effects and this movie has it all.
