So sorry to hear that things with Alice are getting tough. Hope she wakes up soon and stops fighting you. You are doing the right thing by not letting that BOY back in the house. Alice needs to see that he isn't treating her the way she should be treated. But love does blind you from the truth. I hope your DH had a wonderful Bday and he is doing better with the stress. Glad you came back to fill us in on how everything is going. Please keep us posted so we can offer you our support.

Claire, I am so sorry to hear about all of the turmoil with Geoff. Hopefully Alice will see the light rather sooner than later. Maybe he could see the counselor? What if ya'll all went together? That way Alice would see that it isn't that you aren't being supportive, rather that you are concerned with her safety. Either way Geoff needs help with his anger issues, especially if he is going to be a part of this baby's life. Just a thought.

Big hugs to you and your family. I am thinking about you often,a nd praying for your grandchild.

Claire, things are going pretty well. of course we have our god days and bad days as does everyone else, but things are good. hes excited. I just wish he were more motivated to get us out on our own. thats a huge deal for me, and it doesnt seem to phaze him one bit. hes got a great job now finally (dont know if you know this but we moved in Jan, and things were pretty tough there for a while) so things are starting to look up for us. this pg definatly took us by surprise. that cy I O'ed one day earlier than I ever have before (at least in the past year or so that I have been charting) and going by my average O date I was a whole week early so since I O'ed 2 days after we dtd I was obsessing like you wouldnt belive lol. its so nice to talk to you about this, I missed you

Lisa, I am grateful to you for getting my sorry bottom back here to catch up on all your news. I wonder how long it will be before you relent to the baby itch! One thing is for sure, you make beautiful babies so another one is a must.

Itching and being jealous is all I'm doing right now.

But I am both.....sigh. Who knew. I have 10 freaking lbs between me and my PP weight and I WILL get at least that off before I relent.

I am hereby ordering you to be a bit more regular in your popping in and catching up.

I have always been terrified of your whip emote. It may just work in keeping me here! I have just shifted 12lbs in an effort to put less pressure on my injured leg when running. It took me four weeks and a fair amount of exercise though. Good luck with the weight loss!

Jonita - it sounds like this baby was definitely meant to be! Most men are just boys IMO - it takes a strong woman to make a man a father!

I'm a little sad today as yesterday Alice had her 16 week appointment and it was the first one I have not been invited to. My counselor says that I need to stop getting upset about things that are out of my control and focus on what I can do. It's just so hard though.

I'm so sorry Claire. I'm sure it's very hard to see your little girl going through so much. You were right not to let him back in your house. It lets her know that you don't agree with how he is treating her.

Sorry I'm so behind in replying to this.

I hope that Alice is doing ok with everything. Sorry that she's being so difficult and teenager-like towards everyone. Can't believe how irrational some ppl are. I would have been as scared as you if I got that call.

The baby is looking beautiful.

Congrats to your Sister on their baby girl.

Michelle the Big Ultrasound is in about two weeks. Alice and I had a counseling session the other day and she was crying so much because I wasn't coming to the appointment with her. I still feel that I shouldn't go though as I feel so angry towards Geoff and I don't want to ruin the big day for her. I told her to go with Geoff, I will be thinking of her and she can come straight home to tell me. It'll be just as exciting whenever I hear the news. They are having a private scan at a private hospital so i will get to see the DVD of the entire scan and get pics as well. I am really excited to find out. She said that she thinks she can feel the baby moving now, so that's really exciting too!
