OMGoodness Sarah. Im sorry to hear about your dad and you had to witness it and to call 911. You did the right thing to call right away. Im so glad to now hear that he is doing well and is getting better. Hoping the rest of his recovery goes smooth.

Carey~ I got them!!

You know how bad things come in 3s? (at least I believe that). I just got the 3rd today.

1) Punit getting laid off
2) Dad's heart attack
3) my car just broke down on the way to work

I noticed last night after work that the car seemed pretty hot and smelled like coolant so I checked the coolant and it was empty so I filled it up and didn't think anymore about it since it's been in the 100s. This morning on I was driving like regular to work and then the car started making this weird clanking noise and started to loose power so I decided I should pull over. Just as I pulled into a side street the car stalled right there and then started smoking a lot. Called DH to come pick me up. Talked with my Dad to try and figure out what it might be to see where to take it. He's thinking a hose has a hole in it or something.

On top of that... DH's car doesn't have a/c... yeah tell me about it.. it's hot and I have no clue how he drives it. It's bad enough that I drive it on Friday. So it's going to be killer getting around. Seema can't be in that car after 9am or it's too hot.

One of my co-workers is going to drop me at home after work today... but I have no clue about the other days b/c she's suppose to go to daycare tomorrow and Friday and how am I going to pick her up after 5pm.. it's so hot. Anyways... sorry to go on and on I'm just freaked out about what to do. Hopefully we'll be able to get it into the shop soon and fixed.

Oh and I forgot to mention that when I was sitting there waiting for DH my milk started to letdown. So glad I had breast pads on.

Sarah,

Hopefully you can get your car into the shop and get it repaired before Seema needs to go anywhere. If it's a hose, it probably won't be really expensive, either.

And yes, thankfully you had breast pads on! Oh dear....wet milk spots on your shirt would have been the perfect end to the perfect day, huh?

Ok today the second person almost walked in on me pumping. I need to do something. Should I put a door hanger on the door handle? What should it say? Do not disturb?

Ok it's fixed.

Apparently I just put the coolant in the overflow and none in the radiator. He put 1 gal of water in the radiator and it's fine again.

Now I just need to keep some coolant with me, just in case I do have a leak. Will probably have them check that when I get an oil change. And I need 1/2 qt of oil.

you could always hang a sign on your door that says "im making milk, whats your super power?" or the "do not disturb" sign should work...

I did a Do Not Disturb sign at my former employer and no one ever came in. (A couple close calls though)

I have been walked in on once in my new place (my own office, no lock). It was a woman, thankfully. Pretty much everyone knows what I am doing, as they see me trekking to the sink with the stuff afterwards.

Same here.

The first time someone tried to come in then I heard them get their keys out and I couldn't concentrate anymore on pumping after that.

I've mentioned it before but I'm on this med for 10 days... tomorrow's my last day. This med was suppose to give me

but I haven't gotten it yet.

Just wondering if anyone has been put on this med before to bring on

and if it didn't work what was next.

No help on the progesterone, Sarah....no experience with supplements.

I would put a do not disturb sign out. I was almost walked in on once. Thankfully the door was locked, but they kept trying and trying. I'm thinking "who the heck is trying to get in my office when I'm not here?!?!" The guy next office over told them I wasn't available. He had to know what I was doing (2 little kids of his own, plus his wife BF and worked, so I'm sure she pumped, too).

Glad your car was fixed easily!!

Congratulations to Michelle on reaching the end of the first trimester! I'm not sure what the actual date is when you're into the second tri, but you're about there!

Our refrigerator quit on us yesterday, but thankfully the repairman fixed it for just $80. We were prepared to have to get a new one. Oh, AND I found out this morning I have to have a root canal next Wednesday.

Oh well, at least my tooth won't hurt anymore after that (hopefully).

Carey-Root Canals aren't bad. They are just a pita and a hassel (long and precise). Good luck. And yes, the tooth won't hurt anymore after its done (only pain from the poking and proding for a few days). Mine hasn't hurt since, and it was in pretty bad shape before the r/c. I was walking around for years with the nerve showing, amazingly no pain, only sensitive if I ate sour stuff. The dentist almost fell off her seat when I said it never hurt, only sensitive when I had sour stuff.

Got the 'do not disturb!' sign on the door yesterday. So far, so good.

Just talked to the gyno's nurse. She said I should be getting it in the next few days. And to call back if I have or haven't on Monday. If I haven't then they want me to get another pg test. Is it possibly that I could be pg, even though 11 days ago the blood pg test came back neg? We haven't had sex in 4 wks. (Even I didn't realize it was that long since

until I looked at the calendar)

Glad you were able to get it fix and not to $$, hope not too much food went bad.
