Another idea....

Take her in and have her say she thinks her water is leaking. Surely they will check her then.

TY for updating us Missy's mom! Missy is in our prayers. I am mad just like the other ladies here. I hope she can get in sooner. We know your baby and grandbaby will be just fine. We are all here for you, Missy, the baby & rest of the family. Keep us posted.

Thanks for updating us.
I swear that sometimes with our "free" healthcare in canada, it seems like we get what we pay for.
Demanding doesnt seem to do alot of good.
I am praying for Missy and your little grand daughter.
Missy and I met just before we both got pregnant and I think she is just the sweetest woman.
I am sure all will go fine... and the fundal height measurement, well when baby drops, the measurements almost always shrink a bit.
Tell her to hang in there and if she feels up to it, that making up a "i think my water is leaking" story might be a good idea.
I worry about her having to take pain meds and sleeping meds while preggo, that is so unfair. *hugs* to you both.

i would go to another hospital or the er...this is insane! i hope missy gets some relief soon and they get that baby out.

Just got her to sleep. I'm getting her in for a non-stress-test and ultrasound tomorrow morning.

We will take your advice, too, on going to another hospital if necessary. She's waited long enough, and can't take much more of this.

I've passed along all your well wishes. It meant a lot to Missy. Thank you!

Thanks for the update.

I certainly hope the NST & U/S go well and they decide to keep her. I just can't imagine labor that hard not leading to rapid progression once the baby is ready. Considering everybody says to go to the hospital when they are 5 minutes apart, I can't fathom a hospital wanting you home when they've been closer together than that for days.

Bless her heart, I hope she is getting some relief. Actually, I hope she is already there and already has word that things are progressing nicely AND that all is fine with the baby. All my prayers are headed her way for a safe & quick delivery.

Hang in there Missy. The reward will be so worth it in the end!

Hang in there Missy - I am preying for you and your little girl. Sending you lots of Labor vibes too. I would be absolutely furious with that joke of a hospital. I am praying that you get some realief really fast, and that your little girl arrives soon, and is very healthy.

Oh, I am soooooooo mad about this. What a bunch of incompetent and lazy fools you have to deal with!

I hope Missy is holding her daughter and you're holding your granddaughter very very soon!

When Missy is healed and recovering I hope she lodges a formal complaint.
