Well we are to give Seema 4oz of prune/apple juice a day until her poo softens again. Today was her first time even having juice. They tried to give it to her at daycare but she just threw the bottle once she tasted it and would not open her mouth again. Not that I blame her!! But when I gave it to her at home in a sippy she gulped it now. I think she associates the bottle with milk and was shocked when it was something else...

They wanted me to feed her lots of fruits (apricots, prunes, plums, etc) and more fiber things. But I didn't go out of the way to buy any additional baby foods that we don't already have at home. It's so if-y if she'll even eat right now. Tonight, though, she did eat a few bits of green beans.

She was so happy and pleasant the whole time at the grocery store and at home we played out on the deck with a ball. It makes me want to have another and be preg again. sigh... Now I'm thinking 3 is more of a better number.

We were riding in the van the other day and DH turns to the back seat to watch S. (I was driving)
DH: do you think if we have another it will be as cute as her
ME: oh yeah! And just think we could put them side by side and watch them look at each other.

sarah -- prunes were incredibly well received at our house, just FWIW. He really hated baby food generally but would eat prunes. I hope you find something that works.

Claire -- are you over your disco hangover yet? I'm off to see what the chart is up to....I don't see an official O date.....I've sort of given up on watching for that first O for the moment here. HOW can someone so decisive as me be so indecisive about a second child? Ah well...the tests will be there. And maybe AF will start and help things along. We've just been going through a serious 'stage' or something w/J. He is defiant (shock) and into everything (again shock) but the thing that wears me down is the tantrum-throwing. He will pretty much cry or howl at the drop of a hat. I feel like a circus monkey trying to keep him content and laughing and it is like dealing with a little time bomb. You never know what is going to set him off. Eeeeeek! So that is why I've been a little quiet over here. We've been TIRED. Last night I fell asleep while I was laying J down....I got up at 8:45 p.m. Sigh. I guess I needed it.

Just 10 hours after her first sip of the juice she poo'd. And it was soft!! Very stinky but way less painful. She got woken up at 2am but heck I'm just glad she's feeling a bit better. She took a bottle and went right back to sleep in her own crib until 4.

We're not planning on ttc for another 2-3 yrs. Just dreaming for now... sigh.

Lisa - i am sorry you are going through one of those fun stages. My middle one is very headstrong, so I feel your pain. The good news is that they grow out of it, and the next thing you know they are going through a different stage. My oldest son is in the. "I'm too cool for everything stage". Yeah, it's lots of fun at our house. LOL!

YAY for poo. Prunes and Pear juice helped tons.

Deaming about babies makes the baby fever even worse. Well that is how it went/was for me.

Isaac skipped the terrible 2's and went to the terrific 3's. But Carson hit the 2's, UGH. Tanrums and the sassiness. Fun, lol. We feel for you Lisa.

Lisa~ hope J will get past this really soon. I don't know what I'd do if/when we go through that. When we tell S "no" the lip goes out and she starts to cry. But she's so spoiled. We don't like to see her crying () so we just rub her back or hug her and tell her that she can't do that. We're such push overs

WoooooooooooooooooHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I just finished a crossword puzzle that was in the paper!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always get soooooo close (2-4 left), never finishing. This time I did. YEAH!!!!!!!!! And these puzzles aren't easy. Damn Im smart today

Another reason why Im not on much. I thinking too hard, doing these dang addicting puzzles. Its good keeping my mind off of when the baby will come.
