Lynne I think i miss or plan forgot you where trying for another one. sorry AF showed her ugly head.

As for me I took the last of my BCP on Thursday (skipped friday and saturday). My first AF arrived yesterday and I am staring to temp and chart. Although I keep forgetting to temp before I do anything. I think we are going to wait till at least the end of Aug or sept now to start TTC again as I have applied for new jobs and I want to see if I get them first. Of course I could get preggo and then find out I get a job and still take it. I can't believe I am getting ready for number 2. We still live in a VERY small house and we would have to have the baby and Marshall sharing a room for now but I don't want to wait to long in between pregnancies. I want them to be close enough but not to far apart. At this point Marshall will be almost three I think when it would be time for a new baby to arrive. I think that is space enough. I would have liked 2 years but we truly were not ready at that stage.

It sounds like this board is about to get busy again. Again congrats claire, Have you told your children yet?????

Well I started back at work today. It am only going back part time until June 2 but still this sucks. I miss my baby. I just got done pumping and got a fair amount of milk. I am trying to resist the urge to call home and see how things are going.

Had my appt today. Im about 4cm now. Did another NST which the nurse said looked good. Im measuring 5 weeks behind, no gain of fundal in 3 weeks, so the dr is ordering an u/s tomorrow at 9am.

Im having a lot of cxs today (crampy ones since 4:30/5am) and now some show. Cxs are getting more and more crampier. So who knows if I make it to my u/s tomorrow.

Ill keep ya all updated if anything happens (porbably not but you never know with this baby, lol).

Rachel, looks to me like you are measuring behind because that baby is super low! My new guess is the 22nd May. Feel free to prove me wrong and have baby today though

Katrina - how exciting that you are charting and getting ready for the next one. We live in a four bedroom house, so even with Alice staying at Geoffrey's, two of our kids will have to share. Scarlett & Amelie currently share a room and they love it! First thing in the morning Amelie opens her eyes and says 'Where Scarley?' They are so close. We have told the children. Jake is desperate for a brother and so is Scarlett. Amelie doesn't really get it yet, too young. Yesterday Scarlett asked me if the baby was 'Big enough to take out yet?'.

Barbara, hugs for missing your baby. Think how lovely that cuddle will be when you get home though!

Rachel, I am still thinking that it is going to be May 22nd. I have said that from the beginning. You need to make sure I am the one who is right here. LOL! This little one is really hanging in there. I think they are just way too comfortable. I am suprised since you are 4 cm, and you have fairly quick labors that they haven't admitted you. I will be checking up on you!

I think it will be early - around 1 AM on May 22nd. That is my prediction. I think my other prediction was early afternoon. I need to change that. LOL!

God bless you for that comment (skinny) Claire...I so don't feel that way. I was definitely taking a deep breath there.....the back story on that photo is -- playgroup set up a photog to come do a session for surprise father's day gifts...I wasn't planning to be in the photos. No makeup. Hair not done. Ugly shoes (which you can't see). LOL So.........that wasn't a bad shot considering all that.

Katrina -- I totally understand your dilemma re: child spacing. I feel like we have this conversation every day. We really want to do it....but I'm so damned tired to actually 'do it' all that often. (Nevermind that AF hasn't come). Joey has a nasty eye infection w/a cough and snot nose....the last two nights have been all sorts of wakeful...he is freaking out when he wakes up and his eyes are matted shut so bad he can't even open them (one of the pitfalls of long lashes....all the more stuff to glue to his lower lids! )

Claire -- have you posted a belly pic yet? I have a feeling my tummy is going to look like yours with Amelie at like 5 weeks...heck, if I am completely honest and taking regular breaths, (i.e., not sucking it it)...it already does....grrrrr.

I went into labor with both kids at 6-7cm (when arrived at the hospital) so I have awhile to go. I was a 4cm (for a week) with Isaac before things happened. With Carson I was 5cm the day before.

Well those feelings left and I feel back to my normal pg self.

Rachel, that must be so annoying. The end is hard enough without constantly thinking 'Is this it?' I hope that you are getting plenty of rest, just in case. I think that you will progress very fast again though!

Rachel, I just wanted to check in on you. I hope your apt. goes well today! I am crossing everything for you that things progress for you. I remember how it was at the end, how you just can't wait to meet your little one. Heck, why lie? I can't wait to see this baby! LOL!

Girls, spacing is hard. I have to admit I do enjoy having a more than a few years in between, it helps not having 2 in diapers at once, etc. Plus, the boys are so helpful, and they truly love being around their little brothers. There wasn't any jealousy really, either. I think it's that they each had so much time individual time with them. JMO.

The u/s went well. Everything is measuring perfect. Its weighing 7lbs 10oz. So its gonna be around Carson's weight or even a little bit bigger. Its a thumb sucker so I need to prepare my bbs, LOL (the boys were never thumbsuckers). Got to see the face close up, and its sooooooooo cute. Tried the gender and she thinks its a GIRL.

Hows everyone else today? I have a pajama day at Playcentre and have to go in my pj's and dressing gown. I really should take the camera. I can't believe I have to drive round Auckland like that. Wait, what am I saying. You always see people at the supermarket & shops in their nightwear here. In England, they would think that you were crazy if you left the house in sleep wear!

Today was full of fun, all of the boys had their end of year parties, Steven's was the only one I made it to I wanted to go to all 3, but his had a bounce house, face painting, food, all kinds of stuff. I went to William & Chandler's last year, so they were fine with it. Next yr they will all 3 be in the same school. And I'm sure it's the last yr that William will want me to come, since 08-09 will be his last yr in Elem school.
