I have a close friend that recently tried having a VBAC. We have the same OB. Well, she labored to about 5-6 cm. then started having intense shoulder pain. Her blood pressure dropped. They took her in for a c/sect. and discovered she had a uterine rupture. Thank goodness she and the baby are fine.

Up until now I was seriously considering a VBAC. I admit, I'm really scared now and changed my mind. Dh is NOT comfortable with my having a VBAC. He never liked the idea but said he would support me regardless. The problem is that I'm really scared about having a repeat c/sect too. I remember how painful the recovery was and I don't know if I can handle chasing after a toddler. Am I just freaking out here? Should I try the VBAC or just go ahead with a scheduled c/sect? I don't know if my OB will even consider it now.
