More window shopping

So for what it's worth we decided to go with a crib set-up
Well went to BRU but DH wasn't too thrilled with the cribs there (construction-wsie and such - he's super picky with furniture)

JC Pennys had some but you only order from the catalog so can't see them in person which DH isn't 100% on doing. (his sister ordered a couch doing that and turned out not so great)
So 3rd place was an all baby furniture store (oh fun!!) - all the cribs are convertible (what we're looking for) and certain ones they have as a "crib / dresser" combo deal. Those were just a bit higher than Penny's - pretty negligible. Then there were two other sets that DH liked that were a good deal more.

With the money spent on IF stuff and x-mas coming up I'm trying to really watch what we spend (being first timers and twins I could see that getting out of hand) But DH wants something well constructed that he gets to see / inspect before buying and in his mind, esp. if these will last / convert into full beds down the road, what's a couple hundred for the set we really like (vs. going with a Pennys or one of the combo deals.

:p what a pain...... sorry for the novel - so if anyone has ideas / reviews on anything furniture-wise.
