Hey everyone!
I had my 15 weeks peri appnt yesterday. The most amazing news was that I only waited about 20 or so minutes to get in...which is record time for this doc. Second good news is that I actually gained 2 lbs in two weeks!!!!! This is the first weight gain I've had all pregnancy instead of weight loss! I'm still a little under my pre-pregnancy weight, but not bad like last time (and I was a little fluffy to start this time thanks to IVF).
I got my first doppler of their heartbeats. I always feel Baby A more (on my right) than my left, and I was confirmed this is probably b/c Baby B has the placenta in the front. But we heard two healthy heartbeats (Baby B was 160ish and Baby A was 140ish).
My peri was MUCH more personable this visit and gave me a big high-five for gaining weight finally. I start my 17P shots next visit (in two weeks again) to help prevent PTL. He said the random BH contrax I'm having (a few a day) are still ok now, but if they worsen, we need to rethink my activity level....grrrrr. I'm still on 'retricted' activity, and will be the rest of the pregnancy. So that means no lifting, bending, stooping, or walking for long periods of time and resting at least as much as I'm up.
He gave me permission to eat WHATEVER I want (

) and not even worry about nurtition, just calories at this point to get my weight back up. I like that!
Anyway. It was a long day for me...I went to work to see two clients after my appnt and didn't get home until 8:30 at night. I noticed my uterus was a little tight after so much activity, so I'm taking it VERY easy today (as much as I can with a recovering but still sick and demanding 3 year old!).
Thanks for listening to my blabbing!
