2 1/2 hours before they called my name

Hi Everyone, today I had a scheduled scan. My appt. was at 10:15 am, but it was 2 1/2 hours before they called my name. I can not tell you how I was starting to feel. I had the worst headache from the stress, and all of the screaming children who had to suffer this this mess too. It was at the hosp. where I'm sched. to deliver. It is a new hospital,and this is a new OB for me. I've never in my life seen anything like this. I've worked in a hosp. ,and where we serviced people from all walks of life ,and never did we expect anyone to go through this. You would have thought that it was free service, by the way they were acting. after my 3 1/2hr. experience ,they wanted me to wait to see the dr. NOT ........... I got my things ,and my DH,and I went bye bye. I went over to my OB's office where they glady told to expect that, it's the norm , WHAT !!!!! I asked if I could go some place other than there, and it got worse. I may have to change OB's, because I will not go through that again. My DH is a lawyer & he was so very late every where he went today. I missed classs, and I just can't imagine doing this again. I'm still sick , and all I want to do is

. I really like my OB , but I just won't do this again.

I think I should find another practice, that will deliver at the same hosp. However, I will ask where they send their high risk pt.s . If not I will have to go back to my old OB, and deliver 35-45 mins away from home. This was a truly bad experience. I felt sorry for those who could not speak english ,and had to be treated like that... I think they took advantage of them.

I will keep you ladies updated as to what we choose to do.

Ps.. The baby looked good, but I won't have the report until the 11/19/10. This because we didn;t stay to see the dr.
