Yes!! my baby boy is here in my arms!! He everything plus more than I imagined it would feel like. Patrick and I are totally in love with this little guy!!!!
sometimes I just cant stop looking at him because he is really here, so adorable and so handsome!!!
well heres a little of my birth story... I went to L&D and my water was rupturing which started early morning 2/14 I was dilated to 3 cm. So they admitted me! They hooked me up to pitocen at 10 am and I felt some nice contractions starting at
1pm. I wanted a epidural but the nurse said the anithisiologist had 2 other women to tend to before me so waited for like 2 hours. OMG the pain, the pain, the pain was
so intense i could barely stand it. So he came in finally and gave it to me but it didnt work. it maybe numbed me for like 20 minutes just barely. The pain got worse, I told
my nurse it wasnt working. She requested him to come back and that took another 2 hours. The contractions were coming in like every 2 or 3 minutes. I was crying, I have never
felt such pain in my life. He finally came back and just added some more. Well that worked for about 20 min again. and I was back to excrusiating pain!!!!!! My hat goes off to you all who
do natural deliveries!! I could not handle it. So by 6 pm i was fully dilated. Nathan had dropped more. i started pushing through the contractions. Oh it hurt so bad I could not push
successfully so the nurse called the anithisiologist again and he got there at 8 pm and said we would have to do the epidural over again. OMG much better!!!!!!! I was totally nice
and numb but I could still feel when I had contractions
So I pushed through all the contractions perfectly but the contractions had slowed down. I made some progress but Nathan was not coming down anymore at all.

So at 10 i had to labor down because the doctor had to do a c section for someone else. I took a well needed nap. When came back I tried pushing again a few times and made
no progress. and said that a c-section would be best. I wasn't crazy about the idea but I went ahead because at that point i was tired and it had been a long day & I just wanted to hold
my baby already!!!

Oh boy a c-section i knew nothing about so the nurse told me briefly about it and the one thing I could not stand was being even more numb. I hated the feeling of not being able to even move my toes. But the moment I heard Nathan cry
for the first time letting us know he is here!! It was it was all worth
it. we are so in love!! He really is a good baby. I met his pediatrician today as he assessed him and he said he is in excellent health!!

I'm still at the hospital & in a lot of pain from the c-section.. but dealing with it. the pain pills barely work. I should be home on Tuesday.

Nathan I have gotten about 6 hours of sleep in the last 3 days. Taking care of a newborn for the first time is overwhelming yet I am
truely enjoying every moment!
