How many children do you want to have?
What number will this be, and how many do you want to have?
This will be our fourth...and I could totally have more, but I think realistically this will be our last.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
This will be our first. We are hoping for at least two, but with the problems it took to conceive this one, we'll except this as our miracle and only if that is what we are given!

This will be our last. I was 98% sure I was done at 2, but I always wanted 3.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
I want 3 I think, but I'm not sure. We might stop at 2. It depends, if we have a girl this time, I might feel our family is complete but if we have a boy I may want to try again for a girl. Who knows.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
This is our 3rd and we are open to a fourth. We will see it goes with 3 first. DH is one of 5 and we've always wanted lots of kiddos.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
We have 2 boys.....hoping that this one is a girl..........if it's another boy it might make us consider another. For now, I'd rather just work on this one..........

Re: How many children do you want to have?
This will be our third and last as I'm already 35. We may adopt one more in a couple years, though.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
I don't know if I have a number I "want". I wanted more than one. Beyond that we haven't given it any thought. We haven't ttc or prevented for like 13 years. I'm 39 so there's no telling how many more fertile years we have.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
Well, this will be our third and last. Pregnancy is kind've stressful for me. It will be bittersweet to know this is my last pregnancy. But if everything goes well, I'll be getting a tubal. But I'll have lots of nieces and nephews born I'm sure!

Re: How many children do you want to have?
This is #4 for us. Neither of us will do anything permanent to prevent (is surgery), and I don't use birth control, so if God wants us to have more, He is in control of that. We have always said 4-6, so we will see.

We have left things in God's hands as well. We completely planned our first pgcy. Everything went exactly according to our plans. Then we miscarried. I think that completly changed our outlook on things. I have never even considered planning or preventing since then. Dh considered it for a time after our 4th. It took 2 1/2 years after that to have our first dd (I was not charting/timing/taking tests) and we've have had 2 more miscarriages. When we were pg with #4 dh felt like 4 might be the most he could handle, but he never got to the point of taking steps to prevent (there were really no suitable methods anyway). Now that we're pg again he's actually happy about it! I'd still like to adopt someday.

Re: How many children do you want to have?
This will be our third and last. I always thought I wanted two, but dh and I changed our minds and decided to go for one more and see what happens (I'm 40). We were pretty surprised to get a BFP after only two cycles of TTC!

Re: How many children do you want to have?
In the beginning we said 4-6. Then we said 6, then we said 6-8. now I've been talking about 8-10, so I don't know, LOL.
This COULD be the last but it might not be.
Of course I also want to be a foster parent later on, so I don't know if you want to count that or not, LOL
For now I am dealing with this pregnancy, and we're having baby #8. Maybe everyone will jinx me and it'll be babies #8 and 9, LOL
So for now, 8 is enough
