11. What are you looking forward to during your pregnancy or with your newborn? This will be my last, so I'm just hoping to really treasure, appreciate, and remember every little moment.

I have issues with my weight, and I currently weigh more than when I delivered my last baby so I'm not looking forward to more weight gain. Also, it's going to be very emotional going through the birth of a child without my mom, especially knowing my child will never know her.

just a quick intro:

mom to 4 boys.
married for 12 years.
i work two days a week on state contract as a client navigator for a breast and cervical cancer program.
i am in school to get my RN, my goal is to get my masters specializing in midwifery.

i will always call this baby he/him because i refuse to get my hopes up for a girl.
this was not a planned pregnancy and we are keeping it secret for now, but a little part of me is starting to get excited. we had planned to do IUI with sperm washing the summer before my youngest started Pre-K. we are selling our house and building a new one. it really just was not what "WE" had planned, but i KNOW it's going to be ok.

i will most likey not even attempt breastfeeding this go around. i use disposable diapers. i recycle cans, but that's as green as i get. i vaccinate. i do not forward face for an eternity. my children attend public schools. i let my child sleep where ever he wants, when ever he wants - i am not one of those strict stick-to-a-schedule-do-it-by-the-book moms. i will continue to drink diet coke and sweet tea. i am very laid back, yet firm with my children. BUT, despite my maybe not-so-Mary-Poppins mom-style, my kids are my life, and your kids are yours. so i will always tell you how i feel, but be as tactful as possible. i also like to be funny, so hopefully you'll get a grip on my sense of humor rather than take offense.

i think big families are awesome because i am an only child. but wonder what comes after this kid as far as vehicles - the Jon & Kate plus 8 bus????
