Default Remembering My Aunt

My aunt passed away from Breast Cancer over 25 years ago I remember it like yesterday. I remember at her son's high school graduation, dancing with my uncle to "Old Time Rock n Roll" and I remember her always telling me that if she was going to have breast cancer, she was going to fight it all the way.

You know what, she did.

That is what makes breast cancer awareness so important. It's really a matter of not only finding a cure, but making sure that it gets implemented sooner rather than later.

I know there are tons of sad stories and tons of survivor stories and each one has a ton of meaning to them, but we cant forget that this fight has to keep going.

There I said my piece...

Im so sorry about your aunt, im sure she gave a hell of a fight though :}
I had a friend pass away feb 21,2007 with breast cancer that went into her liver and bones, she was only 33 when she passed, she has four great kids that she left behind but she fought till the day she passed.
My mom is a survivor :} she fought for two years before she went into remission she has been in remission 14 years this december, shes one of the lucky ones, never had a reaccurence.
Anyway i just couldnt pass without posting. I hope your family had a sence of peace and clamness on her day......
