Default Breast calcifications

I would like everyone to be aware of what breast calcifications are. I had never heard of them before. I went in March and had a mammogram. It came back stating I had calcifications. Im like well I dont have a lump or cyst--that is good. (I was thinking) 85% of women with calcifications are normal. 15% are not. I had to have a biospy-ouch and found out mine were cancerous. You cannot feel them, they are micro mini. They can only be detected by a mammogram. I was always led to believe you had to have a lump or a cyst and that is not true. I had two lumpectomies before he got it all. It was non invasive cancer(DCIS)and will not spread to other parts of my body and caught at very early stages but I almost lost my breast from it. Please please take it from me, dont wait to feel a lump. All women need to be checked. Had I waited until I felt a lump, it would have been too late for me. I will be starting radiation this week. I am lucky I do not have to have chemo.
