I have to go in today and have a Colpo procedure as well as a biopsy of my uterus. Back at the beginning of my pregnancy with P I had an abnormal pap, but my doc downplayed it to wait until the baby got here. However, when I went in to have my staples out, he said the the pap results warranted both the colpo of my cervix as well as in internal uterine biopsy.

This is my 3rd abnormal pap - the first two happening 5 years ago and then again 3 years ago. Both happened once I found out I was pg with the first coming back clear after my m/c and d&c and the 2nd coming back clear following the birth of Ava. Those other times, all I ended up having to do was have another pap done to find it was cleared up. Not looking forward to today. I had just stopped my PP bleeding the last couple of days, and I know this will start things up again for at least another day or two for me.
