Had my 28wk appt yesterday. Doctor started me on glyburide for my blood sugars. He was very comforting. Told me I am doing nothing wrong. Says he knows I am following the diet because I lost 3 lbs since last visit. It's just that darn placenta! So, I get up this morning to go for my lab work which equals a poke in the right arm. Then my rhogam shot in the left tush. Then I took DS for his H1N1 at the peds. Low and behold, they have the H1N1 shot for me! So another poke. Left arm this time. All on top of my 4 finger sticks a day. Ouch, what a day! Oh and the peds gave DH one too because of the new baby coming. Praying that we are all protected now.
