I've been cramping for over a week now, and yesterday had contractions all afternoon and well into the night. They would come and stick around for a couple hours and then stop. THen come back for awhile and then stop. But they must have been working because a week ago I was closed and long, and today I was open enough he got his finger all the way thru my cervix. 1 1/2 - 2 cm. he said. I am scheduled for induction on the 20th, but I'm hoping (and so is my Dr.) that I go on my own soon. He said a lot of times doing what he did today will start labor in the next couple days. I'm so excited!!! I've never made this much progress on my own before.
