I've been fortunate enough to have had four u/s so far. The heart beat has gotten increasing faster, but today's seemed so high. i've tried to research online but can only find info on low heart rates. i know many of you haven't had many scans yet, but anyone who has can you tell me what yours was??

thats not high! it will go up the further along you get! its really the first HB that they are concerned about. your totally within good range for your week! yay!!

That's totally normal for 9 weeks! I think that's the week it gets the highest. It will settle down in a few weeks.

No thats good and I am even suprised that they said the 114 at your 6wk was low. If you implanted late you could be as low as 110 even with normal development. It should get faster as baby progresses, so yours look perfect.

My baby's heart rate at 5 weeks 6 days was 107. I thought that was low and have obsessed about it for weeks. I just had an u/s at 9 weeks and 1 day and it was 171- I feel better but now I know that 107 was fine as well. Whatever you do..please don't google it. I was scared for weeks because I made the mistake of reading other people's opinion on crazy sites. 184 sounds fine. if you have any doubt, call your Dr. That is what they are there for.

It's perfectly normal for this stage of pregnancy. I have had 2 u/s so far, one in my 7th week, and one in my 9th week. At 7 weeks the heart rate was 136, and just 2 weeks later it was 173! If you are worried at all, call and speak with your doc. I'm sure he/she will tell you that your baby's heartbeat is fine too though!
