Dh and I were talking about this the other night - and thought, how true!
Do any of you find, that since this isn't your first baby, you arent in a great hurry to prepare as early for the arrival as you did for your first child? With our eldest dd, we were ready months in advance, and then some - not how it is now!
I finally got motivated last week, dug out the boxes of clothes and washed them up, got the carseat/base from the depths of my basement, and bought formula, diapers, wipes, etc. We have yet to get the cradle from a friend who is lending us one. We are also buggered if I go in the middle of the night, as we havent really made arrangements for the kids in that case ............ I guess going on a hope that one of my neighbours will answer the phone and crash on our couch till morning?!?! BUT, can't say I am really stressed about it .......... it'll all come together in the end, one way or another!
Just curious to see if anyone else has found this too - or am I the only slacker in the bunch?
