Default B-day Party For Kids-Why invite so many kids ?

I learned that usually when kids are at the younger preschool to proably 2nd to 3rd grade that usually only 'chose' one person they 'really like to play with .

Like for example I invited Brendan cousin Chase and his friend Lily . Well, Lily was left all alone and Brendan was of playing with chase.

So the next time I had a V-day party for alot of people with their kids but still out of around 10 people there even with another boy Brendan age he still chose to play with his classmate Josh.

If Brendan is just having a 'girl' to play with he will go and play with her for a long long time.

When we know that our kids got invited to a b-day party we want them to be "included in the group' just like us who gets invited to a 'mom nite out' we like to be included in the group.

When our kids know that they are 'not included' because their friend is playing with someone else.

It's like well even though Brendan is asking if his friend Joslin would be able to come along it's like you want to say Yes but you know with the result of Lily being Left behind and 8 other kids getting left behind .

That most of the time kids usually play with only one person until they get older .

The other time they would end up with playing with more than one person would end up in a 'more smaller playground area .
