Wishful thinking..
So even though I have 'til the 9th for my u/s, I still bought a cute little girl outfit. My mommy gut has been telling me since before I knew I was pregnant that it's a girl. The outfit was on sale so I got it for a whopping $4. It will be the coming home outfit for my little one. Well only if it's a girl of course.
Am I the only one buying stuff without knowing if it's a boy or girl?

Re: Wishful thinking..
you can't pass up a deal like that!! If it is a girl and you didn't buy it you probably woulda kicked yourself in the butt!
I haven't bought ANYTHING yet... High hopes its a girl because we have everything.. But sooo wanting a boy! So i think my feelings are getting in the way of any intuition.. I do think Boy though.. Well i'm blabbering. GL on the 9th!!

Re: Wishful thinking..
I'm guilty. Not long after we found out we were pg this time, we were at Kohls and I saw the cutest Christmas dress for $1.40. I also saw a little skirt for $0.90. I just couldn't pass them up. If it's a boy, I'll just give them away I guess.

Re: Wishful thinking..
Well...before we found out we were having a boy my sister and MIL both bought a boy outfit. It was my gut feeling all along that we were having a boy and I was dying to buy stuff, but my willpower kicked in I guess and I abstained the best I could!

Re: Wishful thinking..
I haven't bought anything boy yet, just neutral stuff. I do feel that neutral stuff looks very boyish though. My instinct says Boy, but maybe I just want a boy so much it's overpowering intuition?

Re: Wishful thinking..
I bought a few unisex items like sleepers and stuff. I really want to wait until we know the gender in July to buy much else. My first purchase will be the bedding and I'll pick up clothes in the fall when the seasonal stuff changes over. I am really thinking girl right now, which is new. I usually change my mind 10 times beofre I get confirmation!!!! lol

I haven't bought anything yet. I feel like such a slacker. Normally at this time, I would have already had the room half set up!

Aw. I haven't purchased anything myself yet. However, my own mother was so ecstatic to hear she is going to be a grandma again she sent a crab bib home from her trip to New Orleans. HAHA. It's very cute, and neutral.

Re: Wishful thinking..
I've seen a super cute boy outfit, but it's a summery item. I thought about getting it for the hospital pics if we have a boy, b/c I will end up buying one girl and one boy outfit anyway. But it's little short overall set...would it be weird to get their hospital pic done in summery clothes when it's going to be a fall baby? Heck in Texas it could still be shorts weather in Nov. anyway.

Lurking from DIO...
Yep! I bought a beautiful easter dress that was on clearance that is 6-12 months. I have quietly tucked it away (DH doesn't even know). But yeah, I think I'm having a girl. We'll know in October!

Re: Wishful thinking..
As soon as the doc told me I was expecting a boy I went out and bought something blue, but I would've done the same thing if I'd seen something I really liked!
