Icon5 questions for OB tomorrow...

Ok- I have an appointment tomorrow morning and here is my list of questions.....Did I miss anything?

I seem to forget to ask questions everytime I go- so this time I want to be fully prepared for the visit. We will be scheduling out next u/s tomorrow too, but I am still sticking with the "surprise" plan right now.

1- when do I have to pre-register with the hospital? (they gave me paperwork at 8 week visit)
2- do I have to visit the hospital for a walk through? (don't want to at all!!!, I heard it was stupid)
3- When do we decide on a birth plan (and is it to early to tell you that I want to be cut if there is any chance that I will tear)?
4- Is there anything I can do about the disgusting condition of my skin?
5- when is my actual due date (going by LMP or early u/s)?
6- what are my lifting restrictions?
7- how much longer can I sleep on my back?
8- can I get my hair highlighted or do something to cover my severely premature grey?
9- can I get a mani/pedi?
10- what is my actual weight gain? Do we go by weight at LMP or weight at BFP?
11- what about hemoroids.... I have had them for years..... and they are flaring up already..... (tmi- sorry!!!!!)

Good list!
Just FYI, I really liked doing a hospital walk through, it was almost comforting to know exactly where to go, what was going to happen, etc..I'm delivering at a different hospital and I want to do it for this one.

Thanks- the only one they do at my hospital is a full day thing and I have heard that it is torture to be there from 9-4. If they did one that was just an hour or two I would feel a lot better about it. I have also been a "coach" twice at this hospital so I am extremely familiar with the entire birth wing.

Oh wow, that sounds awful, lol!
Mine was just a walk-through, peek in the rooms, etc.

Those sound like great questions! I always have questions to ask my OB when I go, but manage to forget them most of the time. Good thinking having a list!

And really, a whole day hospital tour?! That does sound like torture! Sounds like you're well-educated about this hospital anyway... hopefully it's optional.

Sounds like you've got most of it covered. Does the hospital provide you with a list of things to bring with you for the birth (they did in Italy). Just wondering.
