Pregnancy Stress
I must have had the most stressful weekend!
It might not have been that stressful if i wasn't pregnant, but i could have just screamed and cried on Saturday and Sunday!
I had to go to a wedding at a garden on Saturday, in the heat, without seating. I was supposed to get there early to help the bride, but she was 45 minutes LATE!!
Then i had to get up early and cut up fruit for 40 people for Father's Day yesterday, and i spent all day at my parents for a party and my husband did nothing but sit on his a$$ all day while i set up chairs and tables, and moved them all when the rain came in.
I am still sooooo mad that i could scratch his eyes out! Plus he works second shift so the only day i can get him to do anything for me is Sunday and he still did nothing!!
Whew...sorry about the rant, but i am "this close" to seriously going postal on someone!!
Anyone else stressed?

Re: Pregnancy Stress
Aww
I think everyone has those times. DH is usually pretty good at doing stuff, but sometimes I get mad because I think he expects me to do all the hose stuff since I'm home almost all day, but I'm tired and it would help me if he did something...
I get really mad because he never listens to me. I've been telling him for 4 weeks that I have a Dr's appt today, over and over "Babe, don't forget my appt is in two weeks, one week, 4 days, etc." He calls me on Friday and says, "I just got a call from a job and I said I could go in for an interview on Monday." GRR!

Re: Pregnancy Stress
Im so sorry you had a sucky weekend but men and MIL just dont seem to understand. I've been with my DH for 12 years now, since I was 16 and he was 20. I guess I've just come to terms with how he is and that his mother doesnt really like me. dont really care about that anymore. DH has gotten much better with age...he has matured alot now that he is 32. It use to be a totally different story and I spent alot of time crying.

Re: Pregnancy Stress
I had a fun day on Sat. I went to Kohls to look at dresses for a wedding I am going to on the 27th. And I had a VISA gift card that had $23.74 left on it, so I was going to use that towards it. So after trying on like 10 dresses while sweating and feeling like I was going to pass out, I found one. I go to the register, and the total came to $39.04. I swiped my gift card and I owed $15.30, so I swiped my ATM card. Mind you there is a line of people behind me. The cashier says "oh, you can only pay the rest in cash or a check" HUH?? The lady behind me was already giving me a death look, so I asked if she could cancel it, and I'd just pay the total with the ATM. So she did. I get in my car and drive away to Target to pick up some shampoo etc. And I had a funny feeling. So I called the # on the back of the gift card to find out the total to see if she credited it back...nope!! Balance said $0!! I was livid!! I get my stuff at Target, then go get sneakers for my husband at the Sketchers store, then popped into Mimi Maternity to try on nursing bras. I get home, only to realize I left his sneakers in the changing room there. And the bag I had from Target with the shampoo in it, somehow the cap was open and shampoo got all over everything else I bought.GRR! So I had to wash everything off, then I ran back to Mimi's and thankfully the sneakers were still there....but was a day!! It was suppose to be a nice relaxing day shopping...ya...

Re: Pregnancy Stress
I had a good weekend but I agree that men in general dont' understand. I asked DH for a chamomile on Sunday night and he said "get up and get one yourself, they haven't cut your legs off, have they?!?". I thought I was going to scream but I would've woken DD up! AND I make lasagna and tiramisu from scratch for him for lunch. Grrrrr!

Re: Pregnancy Stress
Oh man, I would have been livid too. My problem this weekend wasn't with DH, but with his brother... I spent all day on Sunday cleaning the house from top to bottom trying to make it perfect and nice for his whole family to come over for Fathers Day Dinner... Then his brother decided to come over 2 hours early with his toddler because I guess he had nothing else to do, and of course he didn't volunteer to lift a finger to help. Instead he opened up our fridge 1 minute after walking in the house, and asked why we didn't have any beer in it for him. The rudeness continued throughout the night. I wanted to scream!!!

Re: Pregnancy Stress
Awe Ashe, i'm sorry your dh was being such a turd. We went to help some friends move the other day and the wife is 8 1/2 months prego and the dh wouldn't let her sit around and do nothing. I felt so sorry for her. My dh was on pins and needles thinking she would go into labor any second. When we were on our way home all he could talk about was how aweful that was to make her lift boxes and stuff.
