So, if you're like me, I'm sure you too lurk to the other boards and you've probably seen DIO's thread on Nursery ideas...I thought it would be neat to see what you guys have planned so far. I posted mine on DIO but I'll put in on here as well. I can't wait to get started now that we know the gender! We chose to go with a fish theme. My husband works for State Wildlife and we both love to fish etc. so we chose this set: (We won't go with the white crib though...planning on a honey oak color)
I'm not quite sure what we're going to do about the nursery. If it's a boy, I'm thinking about reusing DS's nautical nursery stuff and DS will have cowboy bedding, etc. If it's a girl, I'm totally getting brand new stuff for her. As for cribs, b/c we have two houses (that we're hoping to consolidate soon), we have two cribs. Baby Bean will get DS original crib and one dresser while DS will (hopefully) be in his toddler bed and use the other dresser from the original nursery set. If not, he will use his other crib. I HATE living between two places, plus having stuff at both of our parents' houses.

I have no idea, and won't be able to decide until after I know what we're having, last time I spent hours looking at bedding and nurseries online before we even knew that we were having a girl, and as soon as I found out all my opinions changed and I didn't like any of the stuff I had before...so I'm not even looking until I know this time!!!
So cute! I LOVE IT!!!!
Mine is all waiting to find out the gender. I never spend too much on nursery sets (I made the stuff for DS) because they outgrow it so quickly n& I LOVE to redecorate all the time. I will probably re-use some of the stuff I still have & recover it according to the ideas I have now.

I like antique and primitive stuff, so i think i can incorporate that well. I'm not sure what color of crib i would get with it though...
I've never attempted to pull that into a kids' room. I did more of a vintage theme in DS room, but this one will be VERY girly if I find out it's a girl. I love primitives & antiques, but you'd never know it if you looked at my upstairs!!

Aaaw I LOVE the fish theme- super cute and different!!!! I have no idea what I'm going to do yet...depends on the gender and also if we end up moving to a different house. I hate not being able to really plan yet!!
So far I've found this one that I like. Our room that will be the babies already has an Americana theme w sandy colored walls and wooden stars on the walls. I don't want to have to redo the whole room again, so I'm thinking this might work. And I also want a cherry crib I think for this baby. DD's crib is natural wood. I'm also including a blurry pic of DD's room...it was way more babyish.
