Have any of you ever gotten strep throat or the flu while ttc? I am just glad I don't think I ovulate until around the 1st of March because DH won't come within 10 feet of me at the moment!! haha!!. I feel like crud. I have had a 102 degree fever, cold sweats, and this is the longest I have been able to sit up since yesterday afternoon. I even called off work (I babysit in my home) which I feel HORRIBLE about.

I'm interested in what my doctor will do, since we are ttc. I just hope this doesn't delay us.

..just needed to whine and feel sorry for myself. I hate being sick!!

Oh, Tracy. I'm so sorry.

I had Strep several times when my son was only a couple months old, and it was hideous. I was put on Zithromax right away, and that took care of it. Since antibiotics can negate the effects of birth control, it's a good thing you're not on BC and are trying to conceive anyway!

I'm wishing you a speedy recovery, you poor thing.

I hope you feel better soon. I heard you can ovulate later if your sick. So hopefully your body will give you some time to feel better before you ovulate I have a bad cold or flu or whatever it is. It's meshing in with my pregnancy symptoms so I don't if I am nauseated because I am pregnant or if I am sick. lol.

Oh I'm so sorry you're sick. That's the worst thing ever, being sick while TTC. This month me and dh actually both got the Flu, but this was after our IUI. I got so sick, the doctor actually gave me Ammoxocylin and I had to take it for 10 days, it slowly worked, but I still have a cough. Also, make sure you keep your fever down, take Tylenol. I hope you get to feeling better.

After trips to my family doctor and an Ear Nose & Throat doc. I am finally feeling life a semi-functioning human again.

Thank God for my Mom & Dad! they came over and took Aidan shopping & out to lunch on Wednesday, then Dad took me to the doctors. My Mom finished my laundry (btw-I hate the way she folds, I have serious issues about laundry.. I am VERY picky, but I shouldn't complain..I know, at least I don't have to do it.), cleaned up the house a bit, even got my teenage DD to get off the phone long enough to vacuum! Tonight she even made dinner. Too bad i wasn't quite up to eating yet. We SOOOOO owe them a nice night out as a thank you!!!

Funny story.. Before we decided to conceive our DS, I got sick and my DH and I forgot that antibiotics could have an effect on b/c pills. We remembered it a little too late.. Oops! We came up with names like "Baby Boo-Boo" and "Annie Biotic" Nothing came of it, but it got us thinking we wanted a baby. Interesting how my oopsies turn into baby fever!!!!! I get attached to quickly. And my Dad calls me a procrastinator!!!! Ha!

I called off work tomorrow. I just feel SO guilty. I know I can't watch all my daycare kids, but I HATE creating an inconvenience for my daycare parents. I guess that's one of the cons of choosing an in-home daycare.

I'm glad to be back and tomorrow the big TTC race is on!!!! DH just won't be getting any kisses! Poor Guy! haha!
