For those of you who are not first time moms- was there a similarity between the weight/inches of your baby and your/DH's weight/inches when you were born? I am wondering if parents who were big babies will have big babies and vice versa. Thanks!

My boys were both 20" and weighed 8lb15oz and 8lb14oz. I was a 9lb baby and DH I think was around 8lb, no idea on length for us. I always expected I'd have 9lb babies since I was and my 2 brothers were 9.5 and 10 lbs (all born naturally at home too).

I was 6lb 2oz at birth, and DH was 9lbs 10oz, no idea on inches, and Annalee (DD) was 8lbs 9oz, and
22.5 inches, so kind of in between, but on the bigger side...I expect this one to be about 9lbs since a lot of time subsequent babies are bigger...we'll see!

DH was 10Lbs 13oz when he was born!!!! YIKES! And due to him being a big baby and I was a little above average at 8lbs something, my doc was pretty sure we'd have a baby larger than 8lbs. Keely was 8lbs 12.7oz, and this baby is most likely going to be even bigger. Lucky us! My doc said that usually the mother's birth weight matters more.

Well I was 8.12 21 in at birth..Dh was 9 pounds. My son was 9.7 oz and 21 in my girls were : 7.11 , 7.15 and 8 even... all were aroud 20-21 in.

Baby ? 28 weeks:

I was a 8lb baby and so was Todd,

babies have been:

9lbs 14oz
7lbs 2oz
9lbs 4oz
8lbs 12oz
8lb 2oz

and our sweet Elijah was big to born at 23 weeks and was 1lb 14oz that is big for the age he was at the time of his birth.

I was 8 pounds 14 ounces

Mr. Husband was 6 or 7 pounds (just a little guy, ha)
