I had my 16 week appointment today, and I was hoping the doctor would schedule my Ultra Sound for 17 or 18 weeks....but no! I have to wait until 20 weeks, another 4 weeks to find out what team we will be on. I am kinda bummed. I just can't see spending the extra money on an outside u/s, just to find out a few weeks earlier. So, I will wait.......impatiently!

Other than that my appointment went well. We heard the heart beat on the Doppler and the doctor said the baby was moving a lot. Everything else is fine, and I am right where I need to be.

I ended up taking out my belly button ring. I figure better safe than sorry, and it's not like anyone saw it. I am definitely not, not have never been running around with my mid section hanging out!

The wait seems forever. Mine is at 20 weeks, too. That's why I wanted an extra u/s.

Delivery Day, outside will be rainy. Ethan will arrive in the evening. After a 2 hour labor, your son will be born. He will weigh 6 lbs 3 ounces and 20 inches long. He will have hazel eyes and be almost bald.

I understand about waiting...I only have to wait until 18 weeks, but that's 1 month away today still!!

Yay for a good appointment! I just got back from mine actually. Everything went good and of course they scheduled my 20 week u/s as well. It's for June 17th...when's yours? If Dh and I would not have had the early one done I too was going to beg to have it done around 17-18 weeks. To get it done early was $50 so that's why we went ahead with it. If it was any more expensive then we would have waited too.

It scares me though because there's a girl in DIO who had her doctor tell her she was having twin boys and she just found out yesterday she's having girls instead. There's always that possibility of being wrong and that's scary!

Congratulations on your appointment. I'm with Glittergirl, I scheduled an extra US next week so I can arrive mentally sane at the 20wk ultrasound at the end of June. I'm just not a patient person and I did the same thing with my daughter.
