Ok as some of you know, I was going on on the 9th to get my waters broken.
I kept praying please Lord let the ctrx start on their own.
So I thought I will try going on the massage chair, As I heard they are known to start ctrx. Anyway I went on for 40mins. At the time I had nausea, So after I finished my nice massage, I was surprised that my nausea was gone. I think it helped get rid of it.
Ok so I finally get to bed. Only to be woken up at 4am with ctx. Not strong, just regular. So I went back to sleep for a little while. Then they kept coming. So around 5:30 am I wake up dh and say I think we should go in. I told dh we might as well, And if its not it, we have to get my waters broken anyway as we had it schedule for 7:30am.
So we get there, And my ctrx are like 10mins apart. And the doctor walks in and checks me out. She said Im still 2cm dilated, and 50% effaced. And she said, even though I was having ctrx, we might as well break the waters to help speed things up. As it will be a quick birth knowing my history and all.
Then after she broke the water she said if I dont progress in an hour she will then give me the pit to help get it going. So here Im saying to the midwife, Nope there is not going to be any pit for me, This baby will come on its own.
Anyway they had a belt on me to measure ctrx, as well as the babies heartbeat. The doctor tried to find the babies hearbeat and again they couldn't. So the doctor said that they will stick a monitor internally on the babies head to get it. So as she nearly walked out. I grabbed the belt and bingo put it where I thought the babies heartbeat was. and boom, There it was. They were quiet surprised yet happy I was able to find it.
Anyway as I sat down, cos the monitor was on me, The ctrx slowed down. They did have portable strap monitor, but it didnt work. And they wanted the babies heartbeat traced till the end because I had GD. So I asked the midwife if she could try and get another one, as I know if I walked around the ctrx will get stronger. So She went and got another one. Anyway, Thank the Lord this one worked. I put it on and the ctrx got stronger, But not really painful at all.
An hour after the doctor broke the waters, She walked in and checked me again. This time I was at 4cm. Im thinking wooohoo, Ok some progress. Mind you I didnt feel much pain at all.
I did put christian music in the back ground, It was such an awesome atmosphere. I felt peace, And I knew God was with me. The ctrx started getting closer together. So I kept walking around. Not once did I feel they could stop me from walking. Even at the end.
The midwife asked me if the crtx were getting painful and stronger. I said yes they are but they were, But it was still bearable. All she kept saying is you amaze me. She couldn't believe I was still walking around as well as talking no problem. I told her I will tell you what might secret is afterward. She said yes please.
The funny part is.......... that you know how you get near the end, with the really big ctrx. I was falling asleep, Then the midwife was really laughing. My head was actually flopping down as I sat on the couch and I was falling asleep LOL.
It was also amazing, As I had the monitor on me the whole time, I could hear the baby moving into the birth canal, It was the most amazing thing to hear. And fascinating how babies just know to move down.
Mind you I was praying the whole time during the ctrx as well, As so was dh.
Anyway As I got closer, It was so hard to tell. As in the past pg I was so used to so much pain except with Caleb's as I had a similar experience, But in the past I never had a epi or any painkillers with any of them except for the twins pg as I had no choice. But I always put up with it till the end.
Anyway as the crtx did get stronger as yes painful, I got on the bed. And I must have been fully dilated, as I was ready to push. So I started pushing, once, And the babies head started coming down, The midwife told me to stop so I did. And I could hold it there, but I wanted to push again. Then as I pushed again the head was coming through, I prayed, And too my surprise, Instead of it stinging. It was itchy. Actually its what I have been praying for. I couldn't believe my eyes. She told me to hold it again. And it was so easy too, as it wasnt even stinging. And you know when you push down its very painful. It just felt like I was constipated. And bearable.
Then I pushed again, And he was out. And dh said, See I told you its a boy. The funny thing is, I was in such shock, that I didnt even asked what the sex was. Or I wasn't ever surprised that it was a boy. I was so ecstatic to get the birth I so prayed for. It was just so amazing, And such an awesome experience. I give all thank To God for without him I wouldnt have had such a great birth.
The nurse said it was her 84th birth, And that she has never seen anything like it. It was by far the best birth she has ever seen, she walked out of there in amazement, And I told her about God and the book and she wants to get it. Thank God for that super natural childbirth book.
Also another miracle. I prayed for my afterbirth pains. And I have only had painkillers twice spaced 2 days apart. All the nurses at the hospital couldn't get over me not wanting or need painkillers. for this being my 10th baby. They expected me to be in a lot of pain. But Praise God I didn't need any. I also prayed for a small baby and smaller head. And I got all I prayed for.

The first stage took 2 hours and 20mins
The 2nd was 7mins
So all up it was just over 2 hours. No stitches again.
