"Easy" baby?
I cannot believe how easy and sweet of a baby little Isaac is. Literally, when he was delivered he did not even cry. He just squawked a couple times and that was it. I think that's why his Apgars were 9/9, he just really didn't cry! Even when he's hungry he'll mostly just complain a little and nuzzle so I know he's hungry. He has only full-on screamed a few times, and it's usually during something like a bath or gauze change for his circ or something uncomfortable for him.
I'm so grateful I have an easygoing baby for once. The only thing that has been difficult about him is that he's had a really hard time "getting" how to nurse. It's silly--he'll start to get on, then bob off, then squawk, nuzzle back on, pop off, etc. Sometimes he triggers multiple let-downs which is exactly what I don't need cause I have a ton of milk as it is. Ouch!
All of my other kids were VERY difficult infants. Tons of crying, screaming, inconsolability, etc. DD did get easier as she got a little older, she was a very sweet baby and has always been a sweet girl, but still cried heaps as an infant. I keep wondering if something is wrong with Isaac, lol!
