I plan on getting a hotsling. It seems like the easiest thing to try for my first time baby wearing. If I get something complicated I'm sure I won't use it. We'll see how the hotsling goes, if I like it then I might graduate to something more difficult to use.
I'm really looking forward to getting a hotsling this time around. It'll make life alot easier (and my hands more free!)

The day you deliver, outside will be cloudy. Your baby will arrive in wee hours of the morning .
After a labor lasting approximately 22 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and will be 21 inches long. This child will have blue eyes and a little patch of brown hair.
I'm going to get a Moby. They look so comfy! I have an ergo baby carrier, which I love and will have to get a newborn insert. That is super easy too, and they sell a waist extender for plus size ladies (and guys).
I wanted to get a Moby because I can wear the baby on the front and my DD on my back (the Ergo is up to 40lbs!). I know that's a lot of toting around, but it is so much easier on me when I'm using public transportation.
I had a ring sling with DS that I loved, but never got the hang of being able to do stuff besides walk without my hands. After reading up on babywearer.com, I realized my sling was way too big. So, this time I'm making a pouch sling, a ring sling and a wrap (all really easy,) and my mom might make me a Mai Tai.
I had a baby bjorn with DS and didn't really like it and a friend of mine got a sling and said she wasn't comfortable putting a newborn in it because it closed over her. I'm not sure but this one had good reviews. They didn't have a model when I went in but figured it was worth a try. If I get it and don't like it, I can take it back.
