Default Where Chloe will nap...

...other than in my arms, that is.

She'll sleep with us, just like our other babes - but for naps and downtime my other babies went into a bassinet.

Well I sold Gavin's bassinet at a garage sale last year or so, so when I was looking for another bassinet I ran across a website about Amby Baby Hammocks. They are endorsed by Dr. Sears and after searching message boards and such I found that everyone who owned one loved it!

They hang from a spring, covered in cloth so you can't see it, so when the baby moves - the hammock moves and bounces a little and they think they are being held and bounced and it mimics the feelings they have while in the womb of being in motion, etc.

Here's the pic of mine! It snaps together so fast! It comes with a carrying case so we can take it anywhere. G even thinks it's really cool and at first I thought he was gonna be like what is this new fancy thing that you had to have. LOL!

It's right beside my side of the bed right now, but you can move it all over the house... it's light as a feather.

Here's the website, with more pics n'stuff...

A couple pics showing what it looks like beside the bed. From this angle it doesn't look like there is much room but there is actually at least 4 feet if not more between the bed and the wall.

Ok now I feel so crazy... I swear my memory is so bad these days.

So at church this morning the organist walks up and says "So if you need that bassinet back, we aren't in need of it anymore."

Turns out I didn't sell it in the garage sale - I tried to, I remember that - but I let her son borrow it when he had his new baby. LOL!! So I will have both, I suppose... the bassinet can go in the living room or something.

D'oh about the basinette. Well I guess that's good, to have two options now. hehe.

I think the hammock looks adorable! I know a few friends online who have had these and all loved them too, and so did their babies of course hehe.
