I can't believe I have it again, in the same eye. I came down with pink eye in my left eye on June 9th, and now less than a month later I have it again. I have never had pink eye before in my life. I wish I knew what was causing it. No one else in my family has had it and I haven't been around anyone with it. Last time I treated it with antibiotic eye drops for a full week and after it cleared up I bought all new make up and a new pair of contact lenses. I've washed all my bedding and towels, but apparantly I'm catching this from somewhere. Thank goodness I still have eye drops left over from last time.
Has anyone else every had a problem with reaccuring pink eye? This is getting frustrating!

Ouch, pink eye is such a PITA and so contagious. I hope it goes away soon. I have never heard of it happening so close together in adults, if it happens again I would contact my eye Dr. I hope the kids don't get it!
Hahaha....I can't believe this!! I had pink eye the same time that you did last month (we both posted about it) and I just got it again a couple of days ago!! It was mostly bad yesterday, but it looks like it has cleared up today.

That IS crazy Silmara! Mine is clearing up faster this time too, but I'm going to ask my ob about it at my next appt (tues). I also need to make an appt with my eye dr. since I'm really overdue for a checkup. Hopefully someone can figure out what's causing it to reaccure.

I have never had pink eye either, but a friend of mine's son has it a lot from daycare. I think you are doing the best that you can to treat it and prevent it. Get out that bleach and find someone else to scour your house (as you shouldn't be breathing those fumes! )
