Default burnt my belly!

my friend just warned me about this. we had our 2 nephews w/ us this wknd (OMG, they are whiners!!! AGGhhh). went to the beach for July 4th & it was so overcast that is was deceiving. we all played in the ocean & i had on my new bikini. we nixed the sun tan lotion bc the sun wasn't out & it was very cloudy anyway. famous last words.

well when i woke up the next morning i had a pain on my belly. at first i thought it was ligament pain until i looked down... my belly is redder than a tomato!!! it's that kind of burn where if you press the flesh, you can see a yellow indent of your finger. boy it hurts!

when will i learn!!?!?!!

just a reminder to all of you ladies, wear that sunscreen & grease up the belly. don't be an idiot like me

Ouch no fun... yep when the clouds are out, it only keeps certain rays away. Generally the ones that get through the clouds burn you 10x worse than if the sun was just out without clouds. I too found this out the hard way hope it goes away soon though! Sun burns are so uncomfortable!

You usually get the worst burns when it's cloudy. That's because the UVA rays go right through the clouds. Sorry you got burned... always wear sunscreen, period.
