My 36th week appointment. Went ok, bit long, sorry...

• Appointment went ok..Blood pressure, normal (didnt ask what it was) Weight, didnt gain any weight in last 3 appointments,(hes not overly concerned, just told me to eat, and I am to a point, can only eat so much right) Wnats me to prove I have gained weight next appointment, Ill try but cant promise. Baby measuring on track, about 6ish pounds now, heartbeat 150...
• Told him about the pains I get while sleeping, and he doesnt have much to say about that but says take a bath, get a massage, use pillows, try to go to the bathroom as much as possible and just try to hang in there. Says my body is tiny and had went back to normal over the years and that its just working its way to delivery and to be patient.
• He told me that women tend to over exagerate the pains and discomforts and get themselves so worked up and think they are in severe pain when they arent. I wanted to ream him out and leave..if I was faking, would I of needed someone to come help me out of the bath the other night cus I was in so much pain and could literally not move out of the tub. Sure he sees lots of women who complain and *****, but this is true for me. I know for a fact Im not overexagerating cus I sweat and now throw up with the pains, had a while ago but it stopped but its returned..so faking or overly making it? nope..he can go ahead and think that, hes male and has no pregnancy experience..sorry to the men, its true.
• I asked him about the membrane sweeping, induction and so on. He says to watch the contractions Im getting and to watch the pressure, if its unbearable to do go into the hospital, but they cant do much for me there unless the baby is in distress or if they feel something else is not right. He says hes going to check me Sept 8th (37 week) when I go there in the afternoon and do a sweep then, and then do another sweep at 38 weeks. Says it should induce labor to start cus it releases hormones, and combining that with every day life, including sex(semen in vagina) should do the trick. If that doesnt work then at 39 weeks we will book an induction by my 40th week, ugh..so I could be pregnant all the way till my due date. Which sucks, but atleast I know thats going to be the date. If he changes his mind I will be so pissed.
• I asked him why he told me at the last appointment that he will consider inducing by 38 weeks and he says that because I was getting bleeding and he felt it be best to take baby by then, but didnt tell me that if it stops or gets better that he would not consider it anymore..hmmm makes me want to bleed now just so I could, but then thats totally selfish of me and not safe at all. Im glad its stopped for the time being cus it was scaring me.
• I told him Im taking myself off the rest and Im going to try doing a bit more..cus his words were its up to the baby between now and when the sweeping takes effect to come..He would like the baby to come on his own instead of forcing him to come out to avoid fetal distress and or unecessary csection or problems to baby and to me.
• I told him about my last dr breaking my waters at 39 weeks and he says that malpractice and should never of been done..hmmm hes right tho cus that doctor lost his practice then regained it recently. I almost had him for this pregnancy and in alot of ways Im extremely happy I dont have him again cus this dr is very nice.
• He did explain why he wont induce early(earlier than 39 weeks) with a healthy pregnancy, and thats to avoid baby going into distress and unnecessary csections or other things, cus some babies just arent ready...he says he wants the baby to grow as much as possible, and by then baby will be ready cus this is my 5th baby he cant let me go too far.Hes very pleased with the way the baby is growing, considering the last one stopped growing.

So I guess I will just try to enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and try to force the baby out. His eviction notice is done up and sent to him..hes got between now and September 29th to be out!

Also, I did know he couldnt induce now, just wanted to see if he will befor my due date so Im not going over and can see the light at the end of the tunnel, even if it means on his due date to have him.
Thanks for reading and hope Im not complaining to much...Im NOT selfish, I do want whats best for the baby but its very hard with 4 kids, hearing others getting induced cus of their pains, and me I have to have mine in me lol.
Over all it was what I expected and not that bad of an appointment . I know we cant really discuss induction just yet, just merely have it stated that if things arent progressing later in the pregnancy then to induce..but I wanted some sort of game plan..and I guess its there right here the game plan.
