Default Spotting...

I know I haven't posted since way in the beginning, pls forgive me. Things have been busy, If I'm not at work, I'm sleeping, or at a meeting (friend of Bill W)...But I'm in need of some...um, reassurement?
My pregnancy has been fairly uneventful, some mild spotting in the very beginning, 3 ultrasounds, one after spotting, one 2 weeks later (just to be "sure" everything was okay), and one at 12 weeks as part of the screening I am having done because I am at a higher risk for spina bifida. On all the ultrasounds everything was peachy keen fine. On the last one the baby was moving and waving and being perfect.
This am, hubby and I had a quickie, not anything major, just a lil roll in the hay..not the first since I got preggo, and certainly not anything "vigorous". Well, the difference was this time I had some light brown spotting. And it scares me. I keep going through everything in my head and I keep telling myself its probably nothing. But seeing as I can't feel the baby move yet....I'm worried. I've been laying on the couch pretty much all day, "resting". I have a dr appointment Monday anyway, but you know how it is...
Not to mention tomorrow is a big day for us. We are taking the little man, Richard to see Monster Jam. Richard is highly functioning autism (PDD-NOS) and is so excited to go with Mommy and Daddy so it is a MAJOR thing for him. So I'm just kind of stressed.
Any suggestions, experience, anything anyone can share.
Thanks!

sex is notorious for causing spotting

your cervix is very engorged with blood.. and jostling can cause some spotting

no cramping and brown is good signs!

I have heard of a lot of women who have some spotting after sex. Try not to worry too much.

I started spotting w/ Coleton around 10 weeks and it continued until I was about 18 weeks. My dr never even did an u/s. They just said that light brown was nothing to worry about - as long as there was no cramping and/or red blood that it was fine. They did tell me to take it easy, but that's it... and I went on to go beyond my due date and deliver a perfectly healthy 8 lb 8 oz baby boy. I know it's easier said than done, but some light brown spotting is probably absolutely nothing and just that your cervix (and everything down there) is extra engourged with blood right now so it could easily get irritated, break a small blood vestle, etc. I would rest but don't worry. ((HUG))

Thank you! I'm just in a good old fussing mood today, one of those overly sensitive, overly fussy, overly anxious moods. Its like there's a bird sitting on one shoulder telling me the "facts" and another one on the other side whispering the "horror stories". Egad!!

Totally normal. I had some spotting afte DTD when I was PG with DS. I freaked and called my Dr. She assured me all was fine. And it was.

Like the others said... as long as it's not bright red, and you aren't cramping... no worries.
