I had such BAD heartburn/indigestion/acid reflux. I've never been like that. I couldn't even fall asleep until almost 2am, then woke again at 5am. I slept clutching my TUMS that barely even took the edge off!

I felt like I was going to have a hole burned into my throat...that's how bad it was. I almost threw up a couple of times too.

I need to go get some more Tums today, maybe some better ones than what I have. I cannot have another night like that again!

OUCH!!!! Tums don't work for me at all! I always have to get up and get an actual glass of milk. Sorry you had a rough night

I have no idea what I ate to make it so bad either!

I had cheesy breadsticks from the local pizza place for dinner, but that was at 6pm...and I felt fine after eating them! Then I had a small bowl of ice cream.

I hope it isn't going to become a regular occurrance!

I had a bad night last night too. I couldn't decide what was worse - the heart burn, the back pain, or the pelvic pain. My dh worked on the basement bathroom until midnight so I felt bad asking for a back rub b/c I should have been giving him one since he worked from 7AM till midnight, but I couldn't help it - I was in too much pain.

I made spaghetti the other night. Nothing fancy....no garlic, no garlic bread nothing of the sort....I was up drinking mild and popping Tums all night. I think at this point you could eat the most bland food and still feel like you ate a pound of habaneros for dinner ...at least that's how I feel sometimes. I've given up and just bought a lot of milk, pudding and ice cream pops for the late nights.

I'm sorry, we must be in the same boat... I ate some pasta at 6 pm and felt like I had a nice glass of lava. I feel like I am going to fall apart if I don't get a good nights sleep.

I have had 2 HORRIBLE nights exactly like you had last night since I've been pregnant! I definitely feel for you! I am sooo scared of it happening again that if I even SUSPECT it coming, I go ahead and take Maalox. I take Tums (almost everyday) for the mild hardburn/reflux, etc...but if I get that feeling like the acid is going to make me throw up, Maalox has done the trick for me! Hope you're feeling better this morning and are able to get some kind of rest.

I've been there! It's terrible when hurtburn, acid reflux, etc., keep you up half the night. Tums is my best friend right now.
