How funny!!

My little man Ben who is four is the funniest little thing. This morning he was sitting on my lap when the baby kicked him,

Ben; I think the baby wants to come out mammy
Me; I think so, but not for a while yet.
Ben; How does the baby come out?
Me; the doctor helps the baby come out.

long pause,

Ben; does your head get really big and the baby come out of your mouth? I hope you don't bite the baby cause that wouldn't be nice....

It's amazing what goes through their little heads.. He's so precious... Had me in stitches.

hahah that is funny, im so glad none of the little ones in our family have thought to ask me that yet.. i would have no idea what to tell them!

That's cute. My oldest daughter asked me when I was pregnant with her sister, and I told her the truth.

Now, she "teaches" her sister how to give birth. They put babies under their shirts, then make a soft place out of pillows and pop the baby out. I think it's cute.

I love kids and their questions...

I watch A Baby Story with my boys...so they know that babies get pushed out. They aren't really sure 'where' but they know the gist of it

A Baby Story shows a lot, but not all of it

A few weeks ago, Nolan was telling me that he had a baby in his belly, then he laughed, then he said...and now I'm going to push it out...and then he started pushing, all while he laughed, and then said, okay, baby is out!

I about died laughing

He also knows that some babies have to get cut out...he seems pretty fascinated with the whole thing!

Ben sounds so cute

My older 2 know how the baby will be born, so I think its time Ben is told too!!! He was just so cute the way he said.. Aren't kids so articulate! I love their expressions when they think they've come up with a solution... Wouldn't life be so dull without them? and boring... what would we do with our time
