Has anyone ever used it to increase milk flow? I mentioned in another thread that I am having low milk supply issues because of my breast reduction. I get a total of 4 oz. in the AM and then about an ouce each side **if I pump** every hour; which for me is not realistic. Sometime I just let him BF after each feeding to stimulate more milk but it's not happening. I found a doctor who specializes in BF issues who does prescribe Domperidone even though it's not FDA approved due to some issues over 20 yrs. ago and IV patients. Any event I spoke to her at length and she said it would definitely work for me and that she has been prescribing it for years. I am debating because I am at a crossroad where either I just let him supplement on me and bottle feed him with the majority of his feedings and be happy with that or see if I can get more. But because of gas issues I really want to "up" my milk because I find when I do that 4 oz. (which I save for his midnight feedings) he goes to sleep so nicely, no gas, etc. The side effects are minimal and the results are excellent according to this doctor and the patients she has treated.
