NickiY I did have Alyssa on my list at one point but DH said No! But I keep updating my list and I keep coming up with the same names. LOL I'll put it back on and see what he says.

Wanna hear something funny??

I was on nymbler.com just a little bit ago, looking at names. As usual, every one I suggested, DH vetoed. ANYWHO...all of a sudden he says..."What about Pharen??"

I was shocked!!! I had been thinking of that same name!!! I know a gal named Pharen, and I've always thought it was so cool, and different.

Here's how the convo went:

ME: "Seriously?? I was thinking of the same name?? I know a gal named Pharen."
DH: (dumbfounded) "Really?? I know a Pharen too, but I only brought it up cause I figured you'd hate it."
ME: "Well... too bad,. I like it!!"
DH: "Well... I'm not a huge fan."

TOO BAD FOR HIM!!! :lmbo He brought it up!! He said he really doesn't wanna use it, and truthfully... I'm not 100% "in love" with it yet either.. but it's just the fact that he brought it up.....and I was thinking it too.....and it's a SUPER uncommon name..... it's too funny!!

At least he didn't out right veto it.

LOL! My dh always does that! Brings up a name and then says he doesn't like it. I always wonder why he brought it up in the first place.

I have never heard that name before! But it rhymes with Marin, so I have to like it.

we have been in the same boat, to the point that is causes arguments. DH was die-hard on the name Blaise. I like it for a girl, but its too much for a boy.
I think we have finallyagreed on Cannon..

I've never heard that name. I think you have a lot of options because you have a child with a unique name and a child with a more classic name. Good luck agreeing on a name.

Zqueen - I have a friend named Alee' (pronounced A-lee-uh). I really like her name. Just thouht I'd suggest itiether to you or to anyone.

Dh and I were in the same situation. I finally sopped making lists, because it was a waste of time. He was going to say no to EVERYTHING. So I told him that he needed to mke a list for me. I told him that he was no longer allowed to go hunting unless he gave me at least one name to think about while he was gone. And told him I needed a total of 10 names before my next doctor's appointment, or I was going to make im go with me (whichhe HATES taking off work and HATES doctors even more). It worked! We have a Christopher "Owen"! Maybe you just need to approach it in a more creative way.
