Where do you keep your computer? Do you object to the idea of your computer being in your living room? your bedroom? your kitchen?

My laptop is usually where I am, be it in the living room while we watch TV, or in the bedroom while snuggled up in bed. DH and I both have laptops since we both work online. I also have a desktop in the office.

My computer follows me around the house, kitchen, family room and bedroom. DH and I both have laptops and neither one of us spend excessive amounts of time on them, so we don't have any rules about them.

My computer is a laptop, so it is whereever I'm comfortable... Usually, on the coffee table or kitchen table. DH's computer is in the living room.

The only room where I don't want to have the computer is our bedroom, because at times DH & I keep very different hours, and having it in the bedroom is likely to disturb someone's sleep - either mine because DH is up early with the sun getting the paperwork and maps ready for the job, or his because I tend to be a night owl when I'm working on a tight deadline.

It is wireless so wherever but most of the time it is at the computer desk which is in our formal dining room turned into the computer/treadmill room because we do not have a formal table or a need for one.

Our main computer is in the corner of the living room upstairs. That is where I am most of the time, if I am on the comp. I can browse while the kids eat lunch since I am right next to the dining room, etc. Dh has a laptop though, so at night, I might use his downstairs in the family room or on the couch or something. I prefer the comp not being in the bedroom cause then I'd never be able to get on it, without the kids doing who knows what in my room...and they aren't allowed in there anyway.

We don't have a big house....
it would have to be in our living room/dinning room combo or our room.

my desk used to be in my room, then we had the baby and since the crib went where the desk was the desk/desktop is in the dinning room.

My laptop is usually in the living room, I am always trying to sneak and do homework when the kids are busy..

We have an open den area in our house where we keep our desktops (one for us & one for the boys) and my laptop I take with me throughout the house, but usually surf on a small laptop table by my bed while I watch my TIVO.

DH has a laptop that we both use. Usually in the living room. My desktop is at a built in desk in the kitchen, but our kitchen and living room are all open together, so... I can be on it, while the kids eat or watch TV or whatever.

I'm really hoping that we have an actaul den in our new house, but we'll see. I'd never have the desktop in the bedroom, or the kidsroom. I do waaayy too much work on the computer, so I wanna be with the family. Plus, as the kids get older I want to know what they are doing online, so.... no computers in their rooms...ever.

Our computer is in our bedroom. SO and I are the only ones that use it, and we usually are awake and asleep at the same times, so it doesn't disturb either of us.

Both DH and I have our computers next to each other in our room. I think that I would be on it way more if it were downstairs lol!
