We have both. She'll be in the bassinet in our room the first several months then she'll move into the crib.

Here is the bassinet we have. I really like it. It has a drop side so I can pull it right next to our bed, and just pull her into bed to nurse with me at night. Plus, the bed part detatches, like a moses basket, so I can take it with us when we travel (well...road trip stuff... no way would I take it on a plane, )

We got the pack in play with a bassinet setting in it. We'll use that for a couple of months and then we'll use a crib.

I have a bassinet and a co-sleeping nest, but looking for a crib too (especially good when baby needs a nap and is to big for the bassinet). We've got a pack-n-play, but think a crib would be nice too.

I just ordered a co sleeper. They will sleep in that or with me until I am ready to move them to the crib in the nursery.
