Argh!!!

Today was the day that I as supposed to get the plan. Nope.

Apparently the midwives did meet on Tuesday, but the only conclusion they came up with was that they need to present my case to the OBs. That meeting isn't until tomorrow, so I don't find out the plan until NEXT week.

Oh...and I get to have an internal at every appointment from now on, so the midwives and OBs can keep track of my progress for an induction.

Oh..and if I get induced before 39 weeks, I need an amnio. 39 weeks!!!! How crazy is that!! I don't want an amnio, but I don't want to birth another 11 pounder!!

I'm so frustrated that they can't seem to get their act together. They don't seem to understand that I have a lot of kids I need to make arrangements for, as well as the vacation my DH and kids are going on, and the fact that if I get an amnio I can't lift anything for 2 days after. HTH am I supposed to do that??

Argh. That's all I can say. They had better come up with something good for my appointment next week.

On another note, I'm 1 cm dialated. But since this is my fourth kid, I've probably been 1 cm dialated since January!!

Thanks for reading my big rant. I know it's petty of me...most women don't even have a clue when their babies are coming...but we've been talking about the "plan" for 8 months now, and I'm ready to have it finalized!

It wouldn't be so bad if she wasn't strining you along like that! Don't tell you there will be a plan today when in reality it won't be til next week! just say from the beginning, I'm not sure when we will have it. GEEZ! It's that stupid waiting game again! Guess that's what this trimester is all about!

I hear ya on the whole 1cm thing...I doubt we ever really close up once we've had a couple kids

I hope you hear something soon! That is crazy that you need to have an amnio up to 39 weeks. It goes along the same lines of telling a mom of many that she needs to go on bedrest....it just ain't gonna happen. How does a mom of little ones not lift anything??

Melissa, I don't even know where I'll deliver or if i'll meet the Dr before hand. I'd KILL for a plan.

That's so frustrating. I don't understand why you would need an amnio, especially if they aren't planning on inducing befor 37 weeks, that seem extreme.

Yeah, thats really frustrating especially if you know you are proably going to be induced...just give you a plan already! We are all impatient here at the end anyways. Hopefully they will come up with something soon.

The worst part of the whole thing is that there is NOW a plan...I just don't get to know it until next week. The big meeting was this morning, but I have to wait until Thursday to get the answers.

I'm tempted to change my appointment to earlier in the week, but Thursday is the only day they have evening appointments.
