I had a non stress test and my regular OB appointment today.

All went well, but I didn't like the non stress test nurse very much...she pushed on my belly too hard, and I had to tell her we need to be careful about that. I don't want the contractions...they are so rough about things sometimes, and it ticks me off! My belly is so sensitive right now. They push so hard with the wand when they do the U/S too. It's like they think my belly is made of steel!

Anyway, the babies are in weird positions right now...NOT ideal for a vaginal birth. So I really need all the head down baby vibes I can get. I'm fearing a c-section, and have a feeling I'm going to end up with one.

The OB appointment was awesome. I haven't gained anything in the last week or so. Not sure how that's happening, cause I'm eating a lot and pigging out on ice cream, lol!!! I must be loosing weight in the body, and the boys are gaining a little to even things out. My belly is measuring a whopping 43 weeks! I don't feel like I'm that big...I was more uncomfortable with Preston at 38 weeks preggo! I'm just feeling heavier this time around is all.

We're going to let things happen naturally as long as the twins are still doing great. I told my doctor I wanted all the time in the world for these babies to turn head down, and then when they do, get them out of their so I can have a vag delivery, LMBO!!!

My doc thinks I'll go at anytime now and he won't stop labor since I had the steroid shots. He gives me 3 weeks more weeks at the max!!! They will be here before I know it...I'm so excited, yet scared, and a bunch of other emotions all at once. I just hope I have the labor, delivery, and recovery of my desire...I know that's a lot to ask, but this is my last experience with having babies. I want it to go smoothly.

43 weeks, wow!! You're doing a great job cooking those babies. You should be very pround, and not long now before you'll have them.. Its getting sooooooo exciting..

i know what you mean about the people being too rough pushing on your tummy, the MW at my last appt couldnt get a good heartbeat through the chest wall so she started jamming me with her finger tips trying to figure out how the baby was positioned... yowza! i can only imagine how it must feel for you!

When I was preggo with my surro-twins, they remained vertex for quite a while, before twin A finally turned head down (her sister stayed vertex until my peri turned her at delivery).

Good luck...won't be long now - glad you're doing so well (you're such a pro)!

BTW ~ what I said above is true...I even have a shirt that says I am too:

Obviously, I've only have single pregnancies, but Gideon was breech until 38 weeks...then he turned. I really think it had to do with me being in the water! I recommend it!

More head down vibes to you! I can't believe that you only have about 3 weeks. That is so soon. I am glad to hear that your app. went well and that you are feeling good. I gained a total of 40 pounds, but didn't gain at pound in a month....I guess some people gain in the beginning and not the end. Are you feeling ready? Do you have all your things for the babies together? I would so be nesting if I were you lol =).

Leza, ya I'm just totally shocked that my body handled this pregnancy the way it did. To be honest, I thought I'd be in a wheelchair by now, or have had the babies by 32 weeks, lol! So far this pregnancy, I've gained 27 lbs, but it sure feels like a LOT more than that to me. Maybe the scale isn't working properly at my docs office, LOL! My belly is so huge right now, and it feels like it can't grow much more. I'm measuring about 43 weeks.

As for nesting, I want to do a lot more, but I know I can't, or I get so worn down and begin to ache. If I just take it a little easy, I'm doing great. If I work hard, I start feeling it. These babies are heavy! LOL!
