transverse babies?
At my last appointment (just a day before 32 weeks) dr noted that baby seemed to be transverse. DD was head down from conception so I haven't a whole lot of reference with transverse at this point in the game. I know babe can still shift but at what point (read week) does it become a concern for the delivery?
Is anyone else's LO in the same position?

Re: transverse babies?
I am pretty sure my baby girl is transverse right now. Jack was the same way and then turned at around 36 weeks. So I am not concerned. I am going to mention it to my doctor this week though and see what he thinks. I wouldn't worry though. That is coming from a mom who's babies never seem to be head down till the last possible second! LOL!!

Re: transverse babies?
They can turn up until you're well into labor., which is why a c/s for breech before labor starts is kinda ridiculous (especially b/c it robs them of that initial hormone cocktail that they get at the start of labor).
So, you've got a LONG while yet. Just yesterday, 2e was head down in the morning, breech in the afternoon, and two different sides of transverse... I had hiccups on my left and right side! Having a baby transverse after labor starts is *extremely* rare so I wouldn't worry

Re: transverse babies?
At my 3D at 28 weeks my baby was breech. At 31 weeks, my OB said he was head down. I wouldn't worry.

Re: transverse babies?
I wouldn't be worried. I know my girl is usually head down but she does like to get transverse and man oh man can that be ouchy! She is really stretching me out.

Re: transverse babies?
With this pregnancy I haven't even paid attention to that since I know I'm having a c-section. But I know women that their babies have turned very late in the pregnancy.
