There were crazy storms all accross the US last night and this morning. The town my sister lives in was hit very hard. They are in a state of emergency. There were lots of businesses and homes destroyed, trees all over themajor interstate so much so they had to close it. My sisters family and home were unharmed. The town my mom lives in was also hit- though not a bad as my sisters. My moms neighbor had a tree destroy 1/2 of his home, another neighbor had his 2 vehicles thrown accross his yard- and totalled. My parents home and classic collector cars were also unharmed! We were lucky! I hope everyone else out there in SK land and their family were as lucky as us!
We took the kids to COSI (center of science and industry) and we had a 45 minute warning and were basically under lockdown with about 1000 other people. LOL. it was interesting watching everyone try to keep track of their kids when they crammed all of us in 2 rooms.
LOL, I was just sitting in my recliner, in the dark, with DS last night at 10pm. DH had just left with SIL to go to wal-mart for mother's day gifts. Suddenly I hear my front door OPEN... And I freeze. I about WET myself, until GMIL says "Y'all still up?" LOL... she lives in a trailer, down by where the bad storms were, so she came to our house to stay the night.
This morning there were tornadoes about 20 minutes, literally JUST 20 MINUTES, from our house. But it barely even sprinkled here. Weird!!

We're fine here too. Just high winds - tree limbs all over but nothing worse. All the tornados hit to our south - we got the remnants. Glad to hear that you and your families are okay!

Scary stuff! I'm glad everyone is okay.
We had thunderstorms and a cold front yesterday but no harm done (well except for the migraine I got the day before~I get them when the atmospheric pressure changes suddenly like that).
