Prayers needed for Josephine and baby Alex!

Josephine called me and left a message saying they were back in the hospital. Her message was very staticy and cut up, I am guessing form being inside the hospital. I can't make out on the voicemail if she says she has satff or the baby has staff, but I *think* she is saying that Alex has tested positive for having staff and they think it is in his blood stream!
They are waiting on more tests, and she sounds pretty stressed

She said they still have no internet at home so she can't post.
I have called and left her a message, and I am just waiting to hear back form her. In the mean time I will start praying for her and the whole family!

We will be praying for both of them.

Staph is pretty nasty, hope they're able to catch & treat!!!!! I know it's getting to be a lot more common on LDR floors b/c it can get into an episiotomy site and a circumcision

hope they are both ok!!!

Okay I just talked to Josephine and it is Alex, not her. The infection is in his finger and they have been in the hospital since Friday. He was unresponsive and not eating, and the nurses couldn't even get a response out of him at first. He is on really strong antibiotics, and is doing much better now, after being on them for 4 days. She thinks they may be able to go home tomorrow, and after they finally get some sleep at home she will post an update for us.
Poor baby has an IV in his little head

I almost started tearing up when I heard that they had blown all of his veins and the IV was in his head

If anything else happens she will let me know, and I will let all of you know!

awww poor little fella... I hate to think of one of my babies being sick or in pain. I know it must be really hard on her. I hope everything turns out okay. Thanks for updating us Brandie!
