Since Saturday, I have had a migraine headache that has been making me miserable. I called my OB yesterday and since I also have swelling, he wanted me to go to the ER to make sure nothing serious was going on with me. Well my blood pressure was fine. My urine came back clean and they gave me something that took away the headache for a few hours. I wake up again this morning and the headache is back.

I am really frustrated by this. They are now leaning towards it being hormonal related but I am so sick of feeling bad. It is making it very hard to care for two kids.

Oh, how miserable for you. I'm so sorry you have to deal with your headaches on top of everything else. Maybe when you get more settles, you can see a specialist??

Did you have an epi? If so, it could be a spinal headache. I had that happen and it was no fun..pure hell (in which I needed to get a bloodpatch done).

Big clue on that is the headache goes away the moment you lay flat and comes back when you are up.

yeah......maybe its a spinal headache? i was terrified of getting one.

I did have an epi but the headache seems to be bad no matter if I am lying down or standing up. In fact, sometimes it is worse if I lay down.

I had the same thought as Kelly...I hope they can give you something that will give you relief. Migraines are awful even when you don't have a newborn...I can only imagine how hard this is to deal with.
