*Where are you from? How long have you lived there? Do you plan to stay there or would you like to move somewhere else? If elsewhere, WHERE? I am originally from Western New York, outside of Buffalo. I came to Syracuse to go to college and I have been here ever since. While I would love to move closer to my family, my DH and I do love it here. The only thing that stinks is his parents are an hour away and mine are 2 hours away so the kids don't get to see their grandparents as much as I would like.
What is one thing you want to do before you die and why do you want to do it? I would love to go to Australia. I have long been fascinated by that country and I would love to visit one day!
*What is one of your wishes/dreams for your little one's future? I would love my children to live long, happy lives. I wish for them to be healthy, happy, and content.
One thing you deeply believe in, explain. I deeply believe in women and self esteem. I struggled with an eating disorder most of my teenage years and I am a firm believer that we as a society should stop putting so much pressure on young girls to look and feel a certain way. Every women is beautiful, regardless of how they look and I wish everyone could feel that way.

What is your favorite childhood memory, is there a reason why it is your favorite? My favorite childhood memory would be spending summers at my grandparents summer home. It was on a lake and my parents still own the home and I can't wait to have my kids grow up there as well.
How did you meet your DH/SO? Describe your wedding and honeymoon. How long have you been married? MY Dh and met in December 2003 at a dinner. My best friend from college was high school friends with my future SIL and both brought us as guests that night to dinner. We spent the rest of the night talking with one another and started dating about a month later. We were married on July 30., 2005 in a perfect wedding and honeymooned on Martha's Vineyard, where we experienced warm and sunny weather the whole week we were there. We will be married 3 years this year.
One of your favorite things about yourself. Least favorite thing about yourself? I have always really liked my hair. I am very self conscious about my weight which is what I like least about myself.
What is your favorite food and drink? My favorite drink is a tie between Diet Coke and Red Wine. My favorite food would have to be Macaroni and Cheese!
What is one country you'd love to visit and why? Australia
Do you have/want any pets? Their names and a little about them? I have two beautiful cats. Henley is almost 4 and is all black and my baby girl. She was rescued by a co worker of my husband's when she was around 3 weeks old and came to us weighing only 11 ounces. Leia is my gray and white cat who we adopted from a local SPCA. She is also almost 4 years old. She is clearly a daddy's girl.
What is the one thing in your life you cannot live without? My television.
If you had $5000 to spend ANY way you’d like (not on bills/home improvements/debts/etc) what would you do with it AND WHY? I would buy a brand new wide screen HDTV and set up a home theater in my basement.
What is the best vacation you ever had? Probably my honeymoon. It was such a perfect time. My DH likes to say it was the most relaxed he has ever been. We stayed at a little bed and breakfast, went to the beach every day and just relaxed. I would recommend Martha's Vineyard to anyone. It is my favorite place to visit.
What would be your dream job? Well, I sort of had my dream job before I left it before having Jack. I was program coordinator for the local Fox station here. I loved it. I majored in TV in college and it was so nice to be able to work in the field and stay here in the area.
If I could have another dream job it would be to produce a hit TV show. However that would mean living in CA and I am just not up for that. At least not right now! LOL!
What are your can't-miss shows? (I'm a tv addict too) Gosh, I have so many. I love soap operas. I have since I was a kid. They are my guilty pleasure. Right now I am really into Young and the Restless but I also watch All My Children when the writing is good. As for Primetime TV, I love How I Met Your Mother, House, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Survivor, American Idol, Intervention, Amazing Race, and Cold Case. I also love old TV shows. My favorite TV show of all time was the X Files and I am a huge Buffy fan as well. Gosh, I am sure I am forgetting some!
What are your favorite moments with Jack? Ironically, most of them are seeing my DH and him together. My husband is a terrific, hands on father and his little boy loves him so much. I love seeing them play and laugh together.
My favorite moment would have to be bedtime. Daddy reads him his stories and then he comes over and gives me a very long goodnight hug and kisses me on the cheek. I live for that moment!
Describe how your labor/ delivery moments were with Jack? Well, what an interesting experience that was. Jack was a week overdue so I was scheduled for an induction on 10/23. My midwife didn't want me to start pitocin right away so all day I was giving some kind of cervic softning drug. Nothing really happened all day until about midnight when they gave me some Cervadil. I started contracting so fast and so much they took it out and told me to get some sleep until they started the pitocin at 6am in the morning. So well my hubby slept, I tried to get some sleep. Well not known to me, I was actually in labor and I spent all night laboring alone in the dark. No one checked on me. Nothing. 5:30am comes along, hubby is awake, and the nurses come in to tell me to take a shower in preparation for my pitocin. I stand up and have the worst pain I have ever felt. I literally could not stand. The nurses told me I was fine (GRR!!) and I went into the shower. While in the shower, I could not stand up straight and I told my hubby I felt like I had to push. He got the nurse who said she would check me. I get back into bed, the evil nurse comes and says I doubt anything has happened but I will check you anyway. Her face got all white and she asks me if I want to have a baby right now. Phone calls were made to my midwife and family about 6am and after an hour and half of pushing, Jack was born at 7:44. Thank goodness my mom and sister were able to make the birth. All and all, my first experience was not like anything I envisioned it to be so I am not even going to think about what this labor might be like. Thanks for reading my book!
Do you plan to have any more babies after Isabella? I don't think so. Hubby is pretty much set on just two kids. I would love to have 3 but I don't think there is any changing my husbands mind. LOL!
What's your favorite perfume? I don't really wear perfume but I do wear body splash. My favorite scent would have to be Cotton Blossom from Bath and Body Works.
What was your favorite cartoons/characters growing up? I loved Jem. I totally wanted to be Jem. I was also a big fan of Strawberry Shortcake when I was younger too. I liked She Ra too!
